I added water color pencil to my photo collage of citra-solv transfers. I left some pencils marks but I added water to create the watercolor paint effect. I'll maybe add a self portrait later on.
This looks great Marion! The photos that you take are amazing and I love the repetition in this piece, as well as the contrast between the reflection in the puddle and the puddle!
Marion: This is definitely my favorite work of yours so far! The colors look great and portrays a happy peaceful feeling that I think is how rain feels to you. The repitition and similarity in this work are great!
ADD A SELF PORTRAIT! Be vein like me. Gah. This portrays such a clear mood. That's what I like about yours you can feel something by looking at the different pieces. But really a self portrait would be cool.
Marion, Good work with this. The imagery is more interesting to look at because of the patterning and the softness of the transfered imagery. Plus, the borders in between the photos help to unify the entire piece overall. Perhaps what you really need to consider is if you are investigating "12 ways to show rain" - you could simply rely on the 12 structures that we learned about 1st semester and incorporate that knowledge with repeated imagery of rain...just a thought.
